My question is at the bottom. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/284893 The information below was received from the link above. You receive a "Not enough memory available to complete this operation" error message when you try to record a .wav file by using Sound Recorder SYMPTOMS When you try to record a .wav file by using Sound Recorder on a computer that has more than 2 gigabytes (GB) of RAM, you receive the following error message: Not enough memory available to complete this operation. Quit one or more applications to increase available memory, and then try again. Note This problem only occurs when the amount of available physical memory is more than 2 GB. See the "More Information" section for information about how to determine this value. CAUSE This problem occurs because of a design limitation in Sound Recorder and not because of any problem with the underlying multimedia. STATUS Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. My question is: Does anyone know of a work around for this problem? All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much. Take care.
