I'd seen this before, and evidently back then did exactly what you said
twice in a row not seeing any options or difference in a status, and
very likely dismissedly and unknowingly toggled it back on again. So far it
seems to have worked with the delay.

The only thing different I did in case anyone needs to ajust it, was I
needed to arrow down to the Clipboards sub menu and then arrow to the Office
Clipboard button and hit enter.

Too bad they don't' show it with a status on or off. Anyway, thanks I think
this will do it.

Hello try this;

1, open MSWord;

2, alt+h=home,
3, now tab until you hear;
Office clipboard,
Press the enter key this should turn it off.
If you however press the spacebar,
You will see some different options.
Let me know if this helps.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Clipboard and computer delay

I wonder if anyone else has this issue. I can't say when this started or if
it was even always there on this newer machine. I'm using Wind 7, 64 bit and
Office 2010.

The issue is often, but not always, when I copy something to the clipboard
while in Word, the computer just hangs for about ten seconds. I thought it
maybe it was scanning or something.

I thought maybe some sort of virus too, but I run McAffy and Malware Bytes,
and though I see this happened similar to others on a Google search, I
didn't' see a definite solution, at least not one I was willing to go
clicking around the net on unknown domains for supposed fixes.

Is there some sort of clipboard setting I can't find to shut something off?
I don't' know if it is Office clipboard or Windows clipboard but I suspect
Office clipboard. I see clipboard items in my system tray as well. I did use
the apps key and clicked "stop collecting" which seemed to help temporarily,
but I see they're back now. Must have been after closing office or
something. Anyway it's frustrating waiting for it from time to time.
