AFAICT this outcome stems from the fact there it was a yes/no type of vote, so yays “for a short-term period” (quoting Lothar, but there were other BoD members with that understanding) were counted alongside enthusiastic yays. Given the short-term period isn't binding, in practice the vote might be interpreted as a definitive +1. Could the BoD clarify the short-term period and maybe even commit to revisit the vote say, before the end of their term? Cheers, -- Guilhem.
