Most likely, you are missing a quoted call to AC_LANG_SOURCE in the
definition of EVENT_CHECK_VISIBILITY - what does the .m4 file look like
that provides that macro?
More particularly, what does opal_libevent_configure.m4 look like around
line 184 and line 314?
