That sparse isn't installed on my systems; reading it's usage it's somewhat of a shame it wasn't called s-parse instead of sparse. I'd expect a program that does what mine does to be called sparse, or at least to start with that. I suppose sparse-filter might work as a name, but I'm very open to constructive suggestions.
