A new version of my ".trunk + .origin" patch
is here: http://www.geocities.com/dotslashstar/branch_patch.html

Now, using ".origin" by itself, and ".trunk.origin" (both of which
could be interpreted to mean "the origin of hte trunk" are forbidden,
since the origin of trunk is most logically the empty set, (what
was on the trunk before any files were added to it.) which is
more confusing than useful. So, now it just forbids those two.

The one area I have some concern about is vendor branches.
I haven't used vendor branches, so don't know too much about
them, but I will try to play around and see how the patch behaves
in the vicinity of vendor branches sometime.
