We've established that this is a symptom of a more general GTK issue, not a bug in gnubg. The warnings do not appear with GTK+-2.12.9, so the problem was introduced after that version. I believe Mike is investigating further.

I get only seven warnings however. I am running MacOSX 10.3.9 and I built my copy of GnuBG from CVS on Dec. 26th, 2008. I am also using GTK+-2.14.6 but built from source, not Macports. I also seem to have no apparent problems when running the program. Concerning Michael's question about the "Default SGF folder" drop down menu in the "Other" tab, I have Home folder, Desktop, File System, separator line, currently used folder which is also a favorite followed by three more favorites, separator line, and Other. I hope this helps to know that Louis is not the only person experiencing this. Take care, Myshkin LeVine
