The original use of this example was just to demonstrate the various
bits of available syntax.  No conspiracy afoot here...  ;)

This option to take out the decompression code was in the pre-GNU source
for the "stage 1.5" loader option, so it's unsurprising that this wasn't
a lot of work to add to the full "stage 2".
