I mentioned these URLs before:

http://www.rano.demon.co.uk/tmp/grub_net_patch
http://www.rano.demon.co.uk/tmp/grub_net.tar.gz

However, I have now replaced the rubbish that was there with something
that actually uses autoconf and automake. (This was a way of
introducing myself to autoconf and automake.)

I've only included one driver, for NE*000, because that's the only
sort of network card I have to test with. Dresden has other other
drivers which might work without modification.

I've tested it network booting bzImage.gz with an ISA network card. I
haven't tested the latest version with my PCI network card, but my
earlier attempt worked with PCI.

Some autoconf/automake problems I couldn't solve:

There are some missing dependencies on header files.

I occasionally get complaints about stage2/netboot/compile missing; it
works if I type "make" a second time.

I'm looking forward to people telling me how I did it all wrong ...

Any chance of this going into GNU GRUB so I don't have to maintain it?
:-)

Edmund
