Here is a TODO list for 0.92. The order roughly follows the priority list in my mind.
* Get rid of fsys_ext2fs.c, and add fsys_ext3fs.c which will support both ext2 and ext3. This is what I'm doing now. I haven't realized how to speed up lookups of a JBD log yet, though. * Rewrite the terminal code. The idea was posted in this list several days ago. This will (should) include finishing up the dumb terminal interface. * Finish the Multiboot Specification 0.7. Without this effort, GRUB would never be 1.0. I really wants somebody else to work on this. * Take a look at the patch for VBE support by Alexander Thiel, and apply/fix/improve/complement his patch. * Rewrite Stage 1, which will be done by Thierry Laronde. * Enhance the NetBSD and OpenBSD support. Perhaps I myself won't work on neither of them, since I have many other tasks. I hope that 0.92 will be released in the beginning or middle of April.
