Hello,

I have put here:

http://alpha.polynum.org/misc/grub-0.92_cd+ef.diff.gz

the patches against today 0.92 grub CVS tree, allowing:

- booting from CDROM
- booting from odd floppies format
- Position independant stage1 (allowing to load another stage1 like a MS
classical MBR or another GRUB stage1 --- on another drive for example)

These patches have been successfully tested both on CD and on odd and
normal floppies.

An updated version of the script `mkbimage' can be found here:

http://corpus.polynum.org/admin/mkbimage

Please note that one needs to run `automake' and `autoconf' to
regenerate the *.in and so on.

I have kept the include/arch-i386 new tree, but restored stage1 and grub
(renamed grub-shell in a previous attempt). I think this should be a
good compromise: only my new headers are in a new directory.

Please test.

Thanks,
