Hi first of all I am using grub 0.91, but it doesn't look like this stuff has been fixed yet, so don't tell me I should have known this was fixed in CVS or something.
I have been able to boot openbsd 3.1 by using the following commands: root (hd0,0) makeactive chainloader +1 However it prints out Filesystem type unknown, partition type 0xa6. It would be nice if a6 was recognized. BUT here's the strange part, if you are at the grub screen and go into command mode, and type the above commands and type boot, it will load the openbsd partition's bootloader, and start loading the kernel but the boot will FAIL...! You have to actually run the commands from the conf file. Now quick question if someone doesn't mind answering, grub can't be hosted from openbsd's ffs or windoze's ntfs, right? It has to be from fat or ext2? Later _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
