Hello all, I'm sorry that I have been silent after I released 0.94. I had no spare time to work on volunteer projects unfortunately. I thank all the contributors who sent patches and reports. I will check all messages in next week. So please do not assume that I ignored contribution. It's just a problem on having time to work.
My spare time is still quite little. So GRUB really needs more contributors who do maintenance tasks. Currently, I'm doing almost all tasks to maintain GRUB. This situation looks very bad, because nobody else can continue GRUB, once I stop working on GRUB. If you want to keep GRUB good software or make it better, please help the maintenance job. There are many tasks, from a very easy one to a quite technical one. Here are some examples: * Maintain the mailing lists for GRUB. Mostly just dealing with spams. * Asks contributors more information when they provided little information about their contribution. * Maintain and improve the web pages. * Maintain and improve the GRUB FAQ. * Apply patches to the CVS. * Handle copyright issues. * Analyze the code when a bug report is sent. If you are willing to work on one or more maintenance tasks, let me know.
