Details:
I have SuSE-10.0 with grub-0.96
Before updating the new SuSE-10.0 Kernel I would save the old
one by editing manually and with YaST /boot/grub/menu.lst

This last entry did not appeare in the boot screen.
Also I delayed the entry Diskette (floppy, fd0) in the original SuSE menu.lst
-- but it remains in the boot screen.
On my laptop with SuSE-9.3 with grub-0.95 it works fine;
each change appeares in boot screen.
Why that?
