I try to find if it is planned to add support to MP systems (by using posix
thread) or not in gzip, in order to speed up compression/decompression of a
single file. I didn't find any plan or question about this in the archive of
this list.
In fact, I don't know if it's possible (I didn't yet go throught the gzip code
in order to see if it's possible), so if there is not yet any plan, do you
think that the gzip structure is able to support that ?
