I am going to make a fresh install of Windows 7 in a VM and see if I can reproduce the problem there - my two tests have been done from machines that have had a lot of crud on them, unless I am the only persons really running LP on Windows 7 (which I doubt but it maybe possible) then I may have something specific to my own systems.
