Hi, I’m using parted to create and maintain a GPT
partition on a raid unit. Initially everything is fine when I use parted to
create partition and then run lilo to install boot loader. However after a while when I use parted again to make a
modification to the partition table. I lose lilo and system won’t boot
again (I don’t even get Boot: message). Booting system with a CD and running lilo again fixes the
problem. Is there any inconsistency between GPT and LILO ? Regards Amir |
