Hello,
I've found that doing a 'tail -f' on a directory makes the command abort with the following message:

tail: /var/log/httpd/: Is a directory
tail: tail.c:718: recheck: Assertion `valid_file_spec (f)' failed.
Aborted (core dumped)

   I'm using:
[root@starbase1 /root]# tail --version
tail (GNU textutils) 2.0a
