http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=40587 Summary: SSLCACertificateFile Product: Apache httpd-2 Version: 2.0.58 Platform: Sun OS/Version: Solaris Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: mod_ssl AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Started with Apache 2.0.50. Upgraded to 2.0.59. SSLCACertificateFile does not appear to be passed to the browser when connecting. Purchased a 128 bit signed certificate from Verisign. Followed instructions to copy and create the CA file. Named to defaults as follows: SSLCertificateFile /web/v60qa/apache2/conf/ssl.crt/server.crt SSLCertificateKeyFile /web/v60qa/apache2/conf/ssl.key/server.key SSLCACertificatePath /web/v60qa/apache2/conf/ssl.crt SSLCACertificateFile /web/v60qa/apache2/conf/ssl.crt/ca-bundle.crt also tried: SSLCACertificateFile /web/v60qa/apache2/conf/ssl.crt/intermediate.crt suggested by VeriSign web site. Internet Explorer must work differently, does not care or does not look or simply works. Firefox and Mozilla do not recognize the certificate. "Website Certified by an Unknown Authority" I have the debug error log. Proof: Imported the CA certificate in to Firefox and page loads with no problems. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
