http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=41135 [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Component|Build |APR Product|Apache httpd-2 |APR Version|2.2.3 |HEAD ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-12-08 08:12 ------- This is a Sun bug. Contact Sun or try applying the current patch set. Apache 2.0 (or rather, the bundled libapr) doesn't turn on lfs by default, so this OS problem was bypassed when you built that level. Moving PR to product "APR"... Note that this kernel panic problem apparently does not affect many Solaris 9 users. This is the first PR I've seen on this issue, and I haven't encountered it on Solaris 9 myself. If you are able to determine how to identify a broken system, you can update this PR with that information. On a broken system we could halt the configure process and tell user they can apply a Solaris fix OR reinvoke configure with --disable-lfs, but with the caveat that their ABI is non-standard (i.e., they can't use modules built for normal Apache 2.2.x) since disabling lfs changes the ABI). -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
