Give us
/home/qa/TestSvn/subversion/httpd-2.0.63/srclib/apr/libtool --version
and try removing -silent from the flags to observe what happens.
The libtool link line appears. correct, the message is senseless:
-o libapr-0.1a
is what the message asks for
