I am implementing the othAuth component in a new project for which I quickly drafted a demoversion using scaffolding (I love cake for it). When I tested it on my two development servers all was fine, but putting it on the server of the client the app broke with the above error in the component of othAuth. It is line 301: $UserModel =& $this->_createModel(); I read it is a php 4 bug. Unfortunately I could not get the server to be updated very soon. Does anybody know of a quick and dirty workaround by any chance? For the time being?
