Hello!

After looking around here on the Google Group, it looks like
Model::execute has been deprecated (http://groups.google.com/group/
cake-php/browse_thread/thread/8c0edd5f43dad22d/73ec7bf768500bf9?
lnk=gst&q=execute#73ec7bf768500bf9).

I'm using Cake 1.2, and the method itself still exists (in contrast to
what the above posting says).

I know that there's a couple of other posts about this, but since I
can't seem to reply to them (they're too old, maybe?), I just wanted
to throw in my 2 cents:

1) If the method is supposed to be removed from 1.2, please remove
it. The fact that it's there makes it look it should (continue) to
work.
2) As one of the other posters said, please document this. If it
helps, I'd be happy to write something up to be added into
http://book.cakephp.org/view/411/Migrating-from-CakePHP-1-1-to-1-2.

Thanks very much for creating Cake - it's a great platform, and I love
working with it! :)
