A Carolina Wren is singing loudly just outside my window right now as I sit at my desk. I can see his throat action as he sings. He has been flitting up & down the spruce branches within 15 ft. of my window. Now he is trying out a whole variety of songs in his repertoire! Possibly he is a young bird trying all his songs and trills. Some mornings his song seems loud enough as if he sitting at our bedroom window.
