A late morning walk through Hog Hole and the field just east of it produced no Nelson's Sparrow today. In fact, it was quite unbirdy compared to a couple of days ago. There was a late season Osprey circling over the creek, 4 Song Sparrows and 20 American Goldfinches in and around the fields.

I did notice the stakes that Dave Nutter has placed in the field as potential perches. Now we need a few more birds!
