Hi All, I was at Montezuma today, and noticed that the workers were rototilling at Larues. The ground was dry and, hopefully, will have some water soon. YES!
I did not have a scope with me, so I had to rely on 10 power binos. At the Visitor Center around 2:30 P.M. there were both Yellow Legs, a Stilt and two Great Egrets. At the shorebird spot, nothing new. Both areas have a lot of vegetation. Anyone know what is going on at the back side of the wild life drive? There is fantastic dirt there that could be sold as a fund raiser.
