New arrivals today were Willow and Alder Flycatcher. Also banded three Pine
Siskins.
Looks like they may hang around to nest again this year; weve had at least four
consistently through winter/spring.

Sandhill Cranes may be nesting in Queen Catharine Marsh, Schuyler Cty. Two were
foraging a couple of weeks ago and one was sighted foraging in the same area
yesterday. The dirt road that runs north/south on the east of the IBA/BCA marsh
is
called Rock Cabin Rd and at about the middle is an observation platform; the
cranes
have been seen (conveniently) in that area.
