I found an interesting article from the "Cornell Daily Sun," Issue 128, 22 March, 1928, page 5, titled "Fuertes Bird Sanctuary Will Represent Extensive Development of Stewart Park." Subtitle: "Dredging on project to develop marshlands at head of Cayuga Lake in memorial to Louis A. Fuertes '97 begun last week..." An architect's drawing is included.
