We still have two hummers, maybe more.

Subject: [cayugabirds-l] No hummers

Saw my last hummer here in Union Springs on 21 Aug..
The local OSPREY was last seen that day also.
About a doz. or so tree & barn SWALLOWS are
swooping over the woods up by the garden.

For those who want to view the "breakwater" at the former Castelli's Marina
you can drive down to the dock at the south end of the parking area & park
there. I was given permission last spring & told that BIRDERS are welcome.
Just don't drive along the north edge of the marina (nearest Frontenac
Park.). You can walk there & then west out to the lake edge for good view.
