Here is something I would bet has been seen by nobody on this list-serve. A neighbor of mine watched as a brood of baby WOOD DUCKS tumbled from a big maple tree on my street. The mother headed for a tiny pond nearby and my neighbor assisted by herding the ducklings in that direction. My neighbor is 8 years old. I am envious. How about you? Bill McAneny, TBurg
