A little after 9am today, Spring arrived. A single male REDWINGED BLACKBIRD. He was followed closely by a second and a few minutes later by 13 GRACKLES and a third Redwing. The great event was witnessed with trepidation by a dozen Bluejays and 20 Goldfinches. Of course, snow is in the forecast so there are a lot of birds flying around the yard. Smile.
