Yesterday morning, Jan. 4th, I was out walking the dogs, up here on Mt. Pleasant and there was a lot of activity with Robins. Hard to count but maybe 25-30, all around the house and out the driveway. They were after Hawthorn berries. There are also wet areas in the woods. I know there are wild grapes around too. It was 12 degrees F when I got up and about 10 AM it was still only 14 degrees F.
Today I see there are Robins around down the road, west of our driveway. The past 3 days we have had a good amount of snowfall, dry fluffy snow, a good ground covering, so it was a surprise, but fun to see the Robins.
