Extralimital------------
After a weeks absence the GYRFALCON seen in Seneca County south of Seneca
Falls was reported twice this week, on 2/13 and 2/20. Both times it was near or
at the Stone Quarry at the corner of North Hoster and Canoga Roads.
One and sometimes two GREAT GRAY OWLS continue to be seen daily at Robert
Moses State Park near Massena in St. Lawrence county. Today’s sighting was on
Hawkins Point Road.

Migrants this week.
An OSPREY seen this week in Onondaga County is most likely a migrant.
Increasing numbers of RED-WINGED BLACKBIRDS and TURKEY VULTURES, birds usually
seen here in small numbers in winter, seem to indicate these are also probably
migrants,
