In preparation for the Christmas Bird Count next week I’ve been keeping an eye out for the Common Redpolls on Mt Pleasant Rd. This morning I saw them twice: about 10:15 and just now about 12:10. They are more difficult to see with no snow. Two days ago I estimated 50, but today only about 25, down from 150 or so in recent weeks Why aren’t the others showing up at our feeders?!!
