I think you can still do the written if you study hard. I mean is something that can be done in 6-8 months... I dont think you may need to re-do the CCNP. Just get the material from IPexpert, workbooks and the labs and I think that would do it.
It covers all the info and to make sure, grab the blue print and go over it.
