Hi all, as you might have noticed, there still is a problem in mkisofs:
With at least one DVD-Video (ice age as sold in Germany) there is a problem when you try to create a UDF DVD from the file tree. If you call: mkisofs -o /tmp/DVD.out -dvd-video DVD-Video/ and get: The pad was 8 for file VIDEO_TS.BUP OBJ/sparc-sunos5-cc/mkisofs: Implementation botch. Video pad for file VTS_02_1.VOB is -13 OBJ/sparc-sunos5-cc/mkisofs: Either the *.IFO file is bad or you found a mkisofs bug. I received the *.IFO files from the person who reported the problem and I created "sparse" files for the rest of the files in the tree. If you like to help me, please first load the tar file with the files decribed above from: ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/alpha/develop/Test-DVD-Video-tar.bz2 Note that you need "star" ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/star/alpha/ in order to be able to unpack the archive as the archive uses star extensions for sparse files.
