Subject: Re: ieee1394, cdrecord, pg kernel module
Thanks for the mails. Actually i don't think that is a ieee1394 problem
because i can get all the necessary modules loaded and the CD-RW drive is
recognised as 2nd scsi drive.
pc:/home/rw024419 # cat /proc/scsi/scsi
Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: Model: ATAPI CDROM. Rev: 100Y
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Host: scsi1 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: RICOH Model: DVD/CDRW MP9060 Rev: 1.90
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02
pc:/home/rw024419 #
But when i start cdrecord -scanbus the system try load the paride/pg module?
Does cdrecord call the modules? Are they necessary?
Sorry if these questions are stupid but i´m not such an expert for kernel
programming.
Thanks for your help.
regards
Wolfram
