Hi
Here is the output of $TERM
> newt (Linux)$ echo $TERM
> xterm
> newt (Linux)$ 

I know this works in RHEL/CentOS 4.x and Fedora >10, but not in CentOS 
5.x (I'm not sure about RHEL 5.x).

The question is if someone else has the same problem.
