Wrap CreateODBCDate around it:

Where NewDateArc < #CreateODBCDate(Now())#

However, remember that by using Now(), you're specifying everything older
than the date _to the second_

Subject: query date problem

This query gives me all records in the database instead of just what I asked

for. What am I doing wrong?? This NewDateArc field is a DateTime field in
Access

<cfquery datasource="Articles" name="DeleteOldArc">
select * from ArchivesCopy
WHERE NewDateArc < NOW()
</cfquery>
