I have built shopping carts in the past for software and such but have never had to deal with shipping cost and adding taxes to the cost. So here are my two questions: 1. Tax Question: If a customer in South Carolina purchases an item from a vendor in Florida, what tax rate should be applied? Florida? SC? 2. In regards to #1, If it is from the customer's location, does anyone have an API or know of a web services to get those rates? 3. Shipping Cost: I know there was an API for USPS but I can not find it.. (yes I hit Google). Does anyone have an API such as that or know of a services/place I can get one? Thanks!!
