I know that we all remove unused code and don't comment it out. I know we all use best practices in commenting code. Lets assume you were working on someone elses application that did not do these things and had comments in their code comments. How deeply nested have you seen comments on average? Have you seen comments on code which has in turn been commented out leaving the comments as the second level nested rather than the first? Worse?
