SP = Service Pack. Crudely they are bits of software that Microsoft release
to selotape over the holes that are found in their apps.

I am trying to connect from a Win2K workstation to a Win2k server. The win2k
is running with SP3 and the strange thing is that I have installed installed
SP3 on my machine and rebooted, but when I go to the Sql server 'help' menu
to look up info it only lists SP1 as being installed. Has anyone ever had
this problem, if so what did you do to solve it.</DIV>
