That all depends on your clustering methodology and the app's design.  In
our case, for instance, we maintain server-affinity in our cluster, and our
application is such that the chances of two users editing the same data
element on two different servers at the exact same time are next to nothing
:)

And you've only got a single server running the app.  CFLOCK doesn't
work in a clustered situation, because it's local to the server.
