Hi all I'm trying to find some consise examples of how to apply authentication to webservices.
part of it is following up on this thread (which is a few years old now) http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg01732.html there's a couple of different scenarios I need to look into - using windows authentication (ie: IIS using an isapi filter to add authentication headers) - webservice receiving a username and password (best way? worries about clear text?) - consumer receiving a token and then needing to go to a different end point - maintaining the sucessful autherisation over multiple webservice calls I also have to keep in mind CF6.1 as well as CF7. can anyone point me to some well-baked examples covering these cases? thanx in anticipation barry.b You are subscribed to cfcdev.
