Have you seen ColdSpring ? One of it's main jobs is to take care of 'injecting' one class into another, without too much coupling betwen the class. If you want to see class A in class B, then you don't want B to have to know about how to set up A (or what classes A might need injecting), so you write a simple XML file describing what needs injecting where, and let ColdSpring do the work.
