I really don't understand any of this.  Why bother?  C::A should be able to
take an array just as it does a scalar.  No, it doesn't.  But it should.
H::T already accepts the array, why do we need to go through silly hoops to
get from an array to a scalar and back to an array?

Well, the last part of this discussion was really OT since I was saying that H::T should be able to handle a colon separated list in the HTML_TEMPLATE_ROOT environment variable....

But I agree, the real issue is to make C::A handle the array that H::T
expects.
