Instructor for Facebook's Code Accelerator Program - Job Description

We believe that anyone, anywhere can make a positive impact by developing 
products that make the world more open and connected to the people and things 
they care about. This instructor will help lead the Facebook Code Accelerator 
Program in providing and  developing experience to engineers who are 
historically under-represented in computer science.

The Facebook Code Accelerator Program is a paid 4-week training class for 
candidates that want to experience and learn about product development and get 
hands-on experience developing with Facebook Engineers. The instructor will 
participate in developing the class for a 4 week crash course in Facebook 
engineering and development, which includes hands-on project experience in a 
small team setting.

Our development cycle is extremely fast, and we've built tools to keep it that 
way.

Responsibilities:
*    Teach and Particulate in a paid 4-week programming development training 
course
*    Work with teams on projects with our product team
*    Apply current programming knowledge (in C++, Java, PHP or other 
programming language) and learn new technologies

Requirements:
*    Candidates with 1-2 years of experience as and instructor in computer 
science and technology or a similar field
*    Candidates with 1-2 years of computer experience with demonstrated 
interest in computer science and technology
*    Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering is preferred
*    Knowledge of at least one programming language (I.e. C/C++, Javascript, 
Java, PHP, Ruby, Python, etc)
*    Available to work in Menlo Park, CA
*    Must have authorization to work in the US
