Subject: [liberationtech-jobs] Paid summer fellowship to build high-impact
technology products for underserved communities

Are you an entrepreneur, engineer, or designer interested in building
meaningful new technology for underserved communities?

80% of low-income Americans own mobile devices but the technologies that would
be most useful to many underserved Americans aren’t the ones we build. Blue
Ridge Labs’ 12-week fellowship offers top talent the opportunity to create
products for communities that are traditionally overlooked by technology. By
taking a user-centered approach and pushing our teams to iterate quickly and
cheaply, we aim to build products that really make a difference.

We believe great products are born when innovators have the opportunity to work
closely with their users, and our fellowship provides unparalleled access to
underserved individuals around New York. We’ll also provide you with a robust
network of topic experts and front-line organizations working with these
communities as you rapidly prototype and test an MVP.

We look for each of our fellows to fill one of three roles: product manager,
designer, engineer. Great candidates will bring not only a great track record
in their area of expertise, but also courage, empathy, and a love of
fast-paced, collaborative environments. If that sounds like you, we’d love for
you to join us! Learn more and apply
