Subject: Hello - help with spreading the word about a Stanford research program

Hello!

I am Rajan, a CS PhD student working at UC Santa Cruz and Stanford. As part of
my PhD, we're running a research program which can provide an alternate avenue
to students aspiring to be future researchers. I'll highly appreciate if you
can spread the word among students at UW (tascha, dub, change) or elsewhere. I
think they'll find it of great interest. The email can say something like this:

** Calling aspiring researchers for the Stanford Crowd Research Summer Program**

Researchers from Stanford University are inviting aspiring researchers to join
them in an effort to form the largest crowdsourcing research project ever. The
accepted participants will get a chance to design and develop the
next-generation crowdsourcing platform, a platform which might challenge the
structure of Amazon's Mechanical Turk. Besides, the program will give academic
research experience and a chance to co-author paper with researchers at a
top-tier conference. Students from any department, pursuing any degree
(bachelors, masters or PhD) are encouraged to apply. Deadline for the
application is 14th May 2015.

details or contact Rajan Vaish for any questions at

Thanks a lot,
Rajan
