Hello all-- Tier, Change, Dev! Hope this finds you well.

I wanted to share this transcript of the panel from ICTD '13 for you:
"*Starting
a research career in ICTD."*
*Link*:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/12npHjCcHFFv_JBToo35RteaxS4f2q8DbBDVhGKNxjlE/edit?pli=1

It was targeted for newcomers to the space, but also hit on vital issues to
ICTD researchers in any stage.
We had considered condensing this for a Q&A memo, but at this time, I
appreciate reading it as a disaggregated conversation too.

The panel was *great*, and addressed these topics.
I. Bridging Research/Practice, Theory/Intervention
II. What departments do we fit into and why

III. Publication
IV. Industry-academia divide
V. Funding

Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. Panelists, thanks again.

Best wishes!
Meg
